Agreement to Terms
By scheduling an appointment, receiving services, or using the website of Joyful Beauty NP (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “the Practice”), you (“you,” “your,” or “Patient”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
Medical Services and Treatment
Provider Qualifications
Joyful Beauty NP is operated by Joy DeRoche, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in New Hampshire. All services are provided within the scope of practice as defined by New Hampshire state law and professional nursing standards.
Services Offered
Our practice provides aesthetic and wellness services including but not limited to:
- Neurotoxin injections (Botox, Dysport, Letybo)
- Dermal filler treatments
- Sculptra treatments
- Kybella injections
- Microneedling with enhancement options
- Hair restoration therapies
- Biofiller treatments
- PRF injections
- IV hydration therapy
- Wellness shots
Medical Consultation Required
All aesthetic treatments require a medical consultation and assessment. We reserve the right to:
- Decline treatment if you are not a suitable candidate
- Require additional medical clearance from your primary care physician
- Modify treatment plans based on your medical history and current health status
- Postpone treatment if you present with active skin conditions, illness, or other contraindications
Patient Responsibilities
Medical History and Disclosure
You agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate medical history
- Disclose all medications, supplements, and medical conditions
- Inform us of any changes to your health status between appointments
- Follow all pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions
- Attend scheduled follow-up appointments
Informed Consent

- You may withdraw consent at any time before treatment begins
Realistic Expectations
- Aesthetic treatments provide enhancement, not perfection
- Results vary among individuals and cannot be guaranteed
- Multiple treatments may be necessary to achieve desired results
- Maintenance treatments are typically required to sustain results
Scheduling and Appointments
Appointment Booking
- Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or in person
- All appointments are subject to availability
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
Cancellation Policy
- 24-Hour Notice Required: Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
- No-Show Policy: Failure to appear for your appointment may result in a charge equal to 50% of the scheduled service fee
- Emergency Exceptions: We understand emergencies occur and will work with you on a case-by-case basis
Rescheduling
- Appointments may be rescheduled with appropriate notice
- Frequent rescheduling may result in appointment deposit requirements
- Peak time appointments (evenings, weekends) may have different cancellation policies

Payment Timing
- Consultation Fees: Due at time of service

Refund Policy
- Service Refunds: Generally not available once treatment has been performed
- Package Refunds: Prorated refunds may be available for unused portions of treatment packages
- Product Refunds: Unopened products may be returned within 30 days with receipt
- Consultation Refunds: Consultation fees are generally non-refundable

- Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- We are not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions
- We are not liable for results that do not meet your expectations if treatment was performed appropriately
Medical Emergencies
- If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 immediately
- Contact our office for non-emergency treatment-related concerns
- After-hours emergency contact information will be provided when appropriate
Photography and Marketing
Treatment Documentation
- We may take photographs for medical record purposes
- Medical record photos are confidential and protected under HIPAA
Marketing Use
- Before/after photos for marketing require separate written consent
- You may revoke marketing consent at any time for future use
- Compensation is not provided for use of your photos in marketing materials
- Your identity will be protected unless you specifically consent to identification
