Joy’s journey in aesthetics began in 2015, but her path to opening Joyful Beauty NP is what truly sets her apart. For years, she served as a Preceptor, training and mentoring providers across five large chain med spas.
This prestigious role wasn’t just about teaching techniques – it was about ensuring that every provider met the highest standards of safety, artistry, and patient care.
"Training other providers taught me what truly matters in aesthetic medicine," Joy reflects. "It's not just about the latest technology or trendy treatments. It's about understanding each person's unique features, listening to their goals, and delivering results that enhance who they already are."

What began as advanced injection training evolved into a true artistic passion. Joy has performed hundreds of lip filler treatments, earning a reputation for creating the perfect balance of enhancement that looks natural yet noticeable. "In corporate settings, you're often seeing patients every 15 minutes. There's no time to really understand what someone wants or to build the trust that leads to the best results," Joy shares. "I wanted to create a practice where I could give each person the attention they deserve."

Located in Plaistow, NH, Joyful Beauty NP serves patients throughout the Seacoast and Southern New Hampshire region who were previously traveling to Boston or other major cities for quality aesthetic care. Joy saw an opportunity to bring that same level of expertise and advanced treatments closer to home, in an environment where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and never rushed.
